I thought there might be a handful of readers who would give me feedback and I could polish it and make it better. After my initial folly I have since worked with professionals editing and creating a new cover and product.

This is the culmination of my efforts. My first effort was received about as well as a Casey Anthony fund raiser. It isnt how many times you get knocked down but your ability to get up that determines your tenacity. There are many famous failures- Beethoven was told that he was a hopeless composer.

Walt Disney was fired as a newspaper editor for lacking ideas. John Grishams first novel was rejected by 16 agents and 12 publishers. Stephen Kings first novel Carrie was rejected and the author become so frustrated that he threw the novel away. His wife saved it and it was eventually published.I never have felt like an author/writer because I am nothing more than a dreamer. These are my daydreams. Ever since I can remember I have had a very active imagination. I have always enjoyed telling stories but I set out, more times than I care to remember, to put them in a form to share.

After my blistering reviews I questioned if this was the best thing to do. What lies inside us all is the true essence of who and what we are. When pressure is place on us our true character comes out. Just as when you squeeze an orange- you get orange juice. Now I could have published this under a different title and name and put an unpleasant episode behind me.

I have always chosen the less traveled road. The easy way out is just that- a way out. I make no such choice today or ever. Here are my dreams and I encourage you to live your dreams too. People spend 80% of their lives doing what they don’t like so they can spend 20% doing what they want to. This is my effort to flip those numbers.I feel the need to clarify the record.

I called no one “names”. I used a single term to describe the writing style. It is a word usually reserved for children that complain about everything imaginable. Whenever I tried to set the record straight Amazon deleted it. I never asked for a reviewer to take down a review.

When I pointed out an error in grammar the person quickly responded that I was “attacking”. I confess it was very satisfying and reminiscent of the “Comeback” episode of Seinfeld. There are 6 short stories within the book. “A Fish out of Water” is the story of the young child caught between what they love and they are burdened to do. “Mr. Jackson” is the flippant story about a breakup in a bar. It can be humorous at times.

“The Devil Collects his Own” is homage to Rod Serling’s “The Howling Man”. “Between Pleasure and Pain” is the painful story of the lack of courage of a middle school boy. This is then compounded by the loss of innocence of a first crush.” Delicate Silhouette” is a rather racy story regarding a former call girl and the terrible betrayal faced by an authority figure.

“Street Fighting Man” is a story about a fight that is limited to a single strike and the aftermath that follows.
